Sima is a founder and Managing Principal of Aethlon Capital, a private investment bank that offers a broad range of financing, M&A and strategic advisory services. She has over 25 years experience in financial markets - raising in excess of $500 million in private equity capital. In addition to equity capital raising activities, Sima provides valuable expertise on corporate partnering, forming strategic alliances and mergers and acquisitions.

She founded and was President of Giffith Levi Capital, an investment bank she formed in 1989. Previously, Sima was Vice President of D.F. King & Co. Inc., a Wall Street firm specializing in investor relations, proxy solicitation, and merger related advisory services.

Sima was the recipient of the National Association of Women Business Owners (Minnesota chapter) 2007 "Luminary Award" and the 2005 Women on Board "Not for Profit" Director of the Year. She received the National Association of Women Business Owners Vision aware and "Finance and Commerce" newspaper named Sima a "Top Women in Finance." "The Minneapolis, St. Paul Business Journal" selected her as one of the Twin Cities "Women to Watch."

Sima is currently on the Board of the Minneapolis Foundation, a statewide center for philanthropy and, on the Board of Advisors of PACER, a non-profit organization serving families of children and young adults with disabilities. She is also on the Board of the Minneapolis Club, a premier gathering place for business, civic, and community leaders. Sima previously served on the Board of Advisors of Engineering America, a provider of tanks and process equipment for the water industry. Sima was also on the Board of Children's Hospitals and Clinics, the largest pediatric health care organization in the Upper-Midwest and on the Board of Governors of the Children's Theater Company, one of the world's foremost theaters for young people. Sima was previously on the Board of Directors of the Investor Relations Section of the Public Relations Society of America, and the Minnesota's Women's Economic Roundtable, a forum for high-profile women. She Co-Chaired Women-to-Women, and investment group dedicated to helping finance women-owned businesses.

Ms. Griffith has been featured in the "Star Tribune," "St. Paul Pioneer Press," "TwinCities Business Monthly," "Minneapolis, St. Paul Business Journal," and "Upsize" magazine, and has spoken before various groups on issues and trends in private equity and venture capital. She serves as a judge for the Minnesota Cup, a statewide contest for Minnesota's newest and most innovative business idea and was also a judge for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.

She is a graduate of Amherst College and has served as Vice President of the Amherst Alumni Association of Minnesota. Sima is a registered Principal with FINRA and holds Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.
