Fred Haberman
General
Co-Founder and CEO
Haberman & Associates, Inc.
Fred Haberman and his agency have an agenda —to make a difference in the world.
By telling the stories of pioneering companies and nonprofit organizations, Fred and his team create powerful movements that inspire engagement and drive positive social change. Fred, often described as a social entrepreneur, believes that social venture capital is a viable solution for solving the world's problems while still producing profits for business.
Many brand movements have launched and grown thanks to Fred’s passion and advocacy. Haberman works with clients like Volvo Cars of North America, Annie's Homegrown and Organic Valley, helping them do good in the world while simultaneously guiding them to grow and prosper. Fred is also adept at creating and leading movements from scratch, as he did with the Bancroft Arnesen Expedition, the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships, and employer-sponsored gardens – a nascent employee benefit trend featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and HR Executive magazine.
Fred is a frequent speaker at national conferences and workshops, including American Marketing Association, Sustainable Brands, and LOHAS, and was named one of “200 Minnesotans You Should Know” in 2011 by Twin Cities Business Magazine.
