Judith Alnes, MAP's Executive Director since May 1997, has broadened the services provided to nonprofits while expanding the volunteer and financial support from corporate supporters, foundations, and the community at large. Prior to joining MAP, Judy served as Vice President, Marketing and Fund Development at CommonBond Communities for four years, and as Director, Programs and Public Policy at Resources for Child Caring from 1990 to 1993.
From 1978 to 1989, Judy served in a variety of positions at Control Data Corp., including: Director of Public Affairs and Vice President of Individual and Organizational Development. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota and was a Mondale Fellow at the Hubert Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs from 1990 to 1991. Judy serves on the Board of the Westminster Counseling Center, immediate past president of the Greater Twin Cities United Way Council of Agency Executives and is a member of the Greater Twin Cities United Way board of directors.
