Through the support of our partners, we have been able to put together a variety of rewards that are intended to assist the entrants of the Minnesota Cup as they pursue their entrepreneurial path. Following is the detail of the rewards that will be provided.

All entrants to the Minnesota Cup will receive :

- Access to "The Minnesota Cup Hill Resource Center" from the James J. Hill Reference Library to assist with their plan.
- One year, complimentary subscription to Twin Cities Business.
- A valuable experience that will help all entrants as they work on their ventures.

The winner of the Minnesota Cup will receive :

- $50,000 in seed capital
- Business Organization (or services of similar value) from the Maslon law firm.
- One year access to "HillSearch" professional research membership from the James J. Hill Reference Library to continue to plan and grow.
- One feature article publicizing your product / service through the ARA Content network
- Featured as a spotlight company on GetGoMN
- The Minnesota Cup, presented by David and Carolyn Cleveland.

The second place winner will receive :

- $10,000
- Business Organization (or services of similar value) from the Maslon law firm.
- 6 months access to "HillSearch" professional research membership from the James J. Hill Reference Library to continue to plan and grow.
- Featured as a spotlight company on GetGoMN

The third place winner will receive :

- $5,000
- 3 months access to "HillSearch" professional research membership from the James J. Hill Reference Library to continue to plan and grow.

All finalist will receive :

- Featured in a supplement to Twin Cities Business in the Fall of 2007.
- Detailed feedback of their final written entry and oral presentation.
- The opportunity to present their plan through an oral presentation to the entire review board.
- Scholarships to The Collaborative 2008 Venture & Finance Conference

All semi-finalist will receive :

- One month of access to "HillSearch" professional research membership from the James J. Hill Reference Library to assist with your entry.
- An invitation to attend a semi-finalist reception at the James J. Hill Reference Library, where they can meet with some members of the review board and Minnesota Cup partners.
- The CEO Roundtable will participate in the semi-final event, creating opportunities for semi-finalist to meet successful CEO's for feedback and guidance.

Minnesota Cup Student Competition

All entries flagged as "student" are eligible for both the main competition as well as a competition that's only for students. If a student entry is a finalist in the main competition, it will be withdrawn from the student competition.

To be eligible for the student competition, student entrants need to be a full time college students with less then five years of professional business experience.

The winner of the Minnesota Cup Student Competition will receive :

- The winning team will share a $5,000 cash prize.
- Student finalists will receive legal assistance from the University of Minnesota Multi-Profession Business Law Clinic.
- Student finalists will also receive Scholarships to The Collaborative 2008 Venture & Finance Conference
