Arrowhead Growth Alliance
The Arrowhead Growth Alliance is a coalition of public and private organizations committed to advancing regional economic development within the seven counties of Northeastern Minnesota and Douglas County, Wisconsin.
Arrowhead Growth Alliance members strive to align their organizations for growing the economy in the region. Our vision is to create wealth across the region by developing businesses and talent.
Six members of the Arrowhead Growth Alliance are collaborating as a co-sponsor of the Minnesota Cup business plan competition.
Our goal is to accelerate new business formation and job creation with the following key strategies:
- Strengthening systems that support business formation
- Connecting entrepreneurs with resources state-wide
- Increasing the visibility of the Arrowhead region’s entrepreneurs and its business climate
- Engaging students in entrepreneurial studies and pursuits
Iron Range Resources
Iron Range Resources' mission is to help grow northeastern Minnesota’s economy by investing in growing businesses that create jobs, investing in an educated workforce, and by preparing our communities for change and growth.
Blandin Foundation
Blandin Foundation’s mission is to strengthen communities in rural Minnesota with the vision of healthy rural communities grounded in strong economies where the burdens and benefits are widely shared.
Greenstone Group
Greenstone Group’s mission is to develop entrepreneurial talent, create successful companies, and build entrepreneurial communities in northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
Northland Foundation
Northland Foundation’s mission is to strengthen families, grow a sustainable economy, cultivate leadership and philanthropy, and foster respect for all. Through grants, loans and other special initiatives, the Northland Foundation is building a strong foundation for the future.
Area Partnership for Economic Expansion (APEX)
APEX's mission is to strengthen the regional economy by creating sustainable wealth and quality jobs by promoting the retention and growth of existing companies and attracting new businesses that benefit from the area's distinct competitive advantages.
Minnesota Power
Minnesota Power’s Division of Economic Development promotes regional economic vitality and diversification and enhanced corporate citizenship through the attraction, expansion or retention of electric customers.
